Tropical colourness
From the highlands, with the beautiful mountain tanagers, to the incredible displays of manakins in the lowlands, tropical birds exhibit an amazing and contrasting gamut of colours. This photo was taken in the Wayqecha Cloud Forest Biological Station –(left) Golden-collared Tanager, Iridosornis jelskii–, and the famous Pantiacolla Transect –(right) Band-tailed Manakin, Pipra fasciicauda–, both part of the Manu National Park, Peru.
